Dear Students, Parents, Volunteers and Centre Stage Patrons: Thanks to all of your splendid support, the 2008-2009 Centre Stage Season was truly astounding beginning with the return of CINDERELLA, the fun and excitement of 101 DALMATIANS and THE ARISTOCATS followed by the thrill of presenting ANNIE GET YOUR GUN at both the Nathaniel Center and Houston's Hobby Center For The Performing Arts. Last summer's kid's workshop was well attended and the production of RUMBLES, an original play written by former Centre Stage alum Michael Swift with a cast of other alums who are now working actors in New York City added a history making dimension to the organization . In addition to the onstage highlights it is equally rewarding to see all the new friendships formed through the creative process of producing shows and introducing so many new patrons to Centre Stage.
2009-2010 Season In July, Center Stage alums Keith Nobbs and Mike Swift will be here to do a 24-Hour Theater Lock-In. Keith will be directing Mike's new play BOOMERANG as well. More info is coming, but watch for a really big production of WILLY WONKA coming in mid-November with flying effects by ZFX and then a great return of the ever-popular ANNIE in the spring.
